OS Geograph conference
They sponsor Geograph and link to a version of this site from their school Mapzone site.
Geograph now has over 1.6million photographs of the British Isles uploaded by members of the public and available for free use under creative commons licence the main (non-school) site is available here: http://www.geograph.org.uk/
News about the conference is on the site under EVENTS, but you need to be logged in to view the invitation which states:
"We'll have some introductory sessions to review how far we've come and the experiences of people involved, after which we plan to have a number of breakout sessions to talk about improvements we might make and the future direction of the archive, culminating in an overall plan for what we'll do in future."
The three founders of the site will be present, as well as some of the top contributors giving rare access to this community as they celebrate what has been achieved to date and discuss 'what next for Geograph'.
