The Bristol CPD network was led by Garry Atterton, CGeog and Geography AST for South Gloucestershire LA, and Mark Jones, CGeog and Senior Lecturer at the School of Education at UWE. Tony Battista, Geography AST for South Gloucestershire, also supported the project. Unfortunately due to other network commitments they are now no longer running this network, so we are looking for other teachers in the area to take over.

Mark Jones CGeog from UWE spoke about progression and the KS3 curriculum at the meeting on the 3rd December 2008.
The aims of the session were to:
- explore conceptions of the term ‘progression'
- examine what progression can and should look like at KS3
- critique aspects of assessing progression.
