The bus link to the station was so helpful- thank you
Well worth coming- well organised
Excellent venue, food and hospitality for the day
Good and much appreciated. Helped decide on new specification and achieved my aim for the day - to walk away having decided which specification to do. Also achieved my 2nd aim- to have a full belly and have enjoyed lunch!
Geography Teachers who attended the AS/A2 level specifications CPD day in Chesterfield, January 2008
The first CPD event in this area was based around the revised AS/A2 Level specifications, exploring each specification in detail to ensure the delegates made the right choice for their department. Representatives from each of the exam boards presented, highlighting the main changes in their specification and answering questions from the delegates. The speakers' presentations from the AS/A2 event are available to download on the right.
The second CPD event in this area was held in January 2009 and was a fantastic opportunity for teachers and learning practitioners to hear topical advice, updates and tips from all four examination boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC), allowing them to make informed decisions regarding new GCSE specifications arriving in September 2009. The speakers' presentations from the GCSE event are available to download on the right.
The third CPD event in this area was held on the 25th November 2009 was consisted of all day workshops for teachers to spend focussing on the GCSE specification they have chosen to teach with representatives from that awarding body.
