Geography Teaching Today

Over the past year one of our Chartered Geographer (Teachers), Garry Atterton, has been holding small, informal Chartered Geographer mentoring sessions in Gloucestershire. We hope to develop this further in 2009-10 with support from David Nicholls, the National Strategy Secondary Consultant Teaching and Learning/foundation subjects for the local authority of Gloucestershire, with the following meetings: 

• Wednesday 19 May 2010 4-5.30 
• A fourth meeting is planned for schools that are interested in the Geographical Association Secondary Geography Quality Mark (SGQM). This will take place on the afternoon of Tuesday 16 March 2010 at the full network meeting.
