Cross-curricular resources

This work teaches students about the European Union (EU). Lessons seek to highlight the diversity of culture and landscape that exists within the union, as well as investigating some of the future challenges it faces. Each lesson introduces terms from the case study country's language. Where possible, terms with similar meanings to their English counterparts have been used to encourage pupils to develop their logical thinking skills. It is also hoped that the integration of European languages will help pupils to understand the links that exist between Geography and other curriculum areas. These lessons would provide an excellent foundation for any departments planning cross-curricular days / initiatives.
