Chapter 27 Geography and students with EAL

Chapter 27 asks you to consider which aspects of learning geography are the most challenging for students who may not have English as a first language. Alan has with this extension work, provided a narrative through the considerations that he would use within his school and department.

This practical advice draws on the issues raised within the Handbook, but adds the very practical considerations that busy teachers will need to think about when dealing with differentiation for EAL students.
