Sluice gates at King George's Field.

Culverts on Kings Road West which were extensively extended and updated in 1995.

Electronic water level monitors that signal the sluice gates to open if water level gets too high were also installed.

The culverts along Kings Road West need to be dredged regularly to ensure water is channelled away quickly.

Emergency flood storage area at King George's Field which formed part of the £6m flood alleviation scheme commissioned by Purbeck District Council and completed in 1995.

Run-off from surrounding fields and carpark is channelled directly into the culverts
