Primary Geography and Citizenship
Stimulus - Activity 2
Use the 'Who am I?' picture diagram and your ideas from Activity 1 as a starting point for considering how you might structure this activity with your pupils:
- How could you use or adapt this resource as a model to promote thinking in your class?
- How can you help pupils make the link between who they are and geography?
Look at the Activity 2 Extension Document for further ideas about expanding this activity. The extension document develops the idea of questioning who we are in the world. The first activity examines the kinds of decisions that influence why we live where we do, while the second evokes discussion about what a citizen is and the skills we might need to be successful in this role.
