There are some fab multi media and visual resources on habitats, wildlife etc at www.arkive.org. these might be useful for powerpoint presentations or as printed photos for the classroom. Also activities and ideas for lessons .Free to use and easy to access.
2. Simon rudd - 27 January 2007
I used some broadsheet newspapers, and the free-metro, london paper etc, to encourage the class to identify geographical stories in the news. The children seemed to enjoy it.

The use of the Interactive Whiteboard has proved invaluable from the start of my ITT. Undoubtidly there are benefits galore with regular use in class, but could anyone give me direction for my IE:
