I would like to see greater use made of streamed video footage of fieldwork techniques such as slope meaurement / river discharge meaurement. I think that it is vital for students to be invloved in devising their own methodology, but pressure on time might mean that such techniques are better taught in the classroom before embarking on doing them "for real" on the fieldwork day.
Pupils could also use the same material to donwload onto iPods for use in the field.
I would also like to see video footage being made available for different sites at the fieldwork locations. This might take the form of questions to be answered at those locations, or to gain supplementary infomration e.g. from professionals and/or site experts.
Complementary to these could be soundfiles for mp3 players.
